Ronaldo Portugal Jorge Jesus rift

Jorge Jesus can call it a "misunderstanding" all he wants. Cristiano Ronaldo's position on Portugal has not shifted: he won't be back while Jesus is the manager. It started with Ronaldo on the bench against Norway, then a departure from the national-team camp. Jesus later said the door was open and framed the whole thing as a mix-up. Ronaldo's answer remains no unless the bench changes. A last match to send him off right was the ideal ending. That door has closed. #CristianoRonaldo
