    2024 dry pea production rankings

    Russia actually topped the global dry pea charts in 2024 with a massive 3,252,000 tonnes while Canada sat right behind at 2,997,000 tonnes. China came in third with 1,489,000 tonnes and India followed with 1,070,000 tonnes before the United States hit 756,600 tonnes. France managed 486,700 tonnes and Ukraine brought in 462,900 tonnes. Ethiopia rounded out the next tier with 399,800 tonnes. Germany contributed 376,000 tonnes and the United Kingdom reached 293,400 tonnes. Spain added 263,300 tonnes to the total while Australia sat at 228,000 tonnes. Lithuania finished with 216,200 tonnes and Argentina matched that energy with 215,300 tonnes. Kazakhstan brought 168,000 tonnes to the list and Estonia added 117,600 tonnes. Romania produced 114,500 tonnes and Finland reached 103,000 tonnes. Latvia came in at 95,200 tonnes and Czechia closed out the rankings with 88,200 tonnes. This data comes straight from FAOSTAT for 2024
