    2024 Global Melon Production Rankings

    2024 Melon stats are wild because China crushed it with 13,220,000 tonnes of cantaloupes and other melons while the next closest country is India sitting at 1,540,000 tonnes. Kazakhstan came in third with 1,500,000 tonnes and Türkiye followed right behind at 1,480,000 tonnes for the year. Brazil produced 816,900 tonnes and Italy reached 771,600 tonnes in their harvests that same season. Guatemala made 767,000 tonnes and Afghanistan hit 701,200 tonnes to round out the top contenders. The United States grew 600,600 tonnes while Spain added 594,000 tonnes to the global count. Mexico contributed 579,000 tonnes and Iran finished with 569,800 tonnes in their output. Egypt rounded out the middle pack with 485,000 tonnes and Pakistan added 411,300 tonnes to the total. Bangladesh produced 400,100 tonnes and France reached 322,400 tonnes in their annual yields. Honduras grew 279,000 tonnes and Australia harvested 262,300 tonnes across their fields. Morocco produced 245,500 tonnes and South Korea finished the list with 208,000 tonnes.
