    2024 global kiwifruit production rankings

    The 2024 kiwifruit charts show China sitting at the very top with a massive 2,150,000 tonnes, while New Zealand comes in second at 667,800 tonnes. Italy holds the third spot with 463,900 tonnes, followed by Greece at 342,300 tonnes and Iran reaching 294,700 tonnes. Chile generated 194,700 tonnes, Türkiye produced 92,200 tonnes, and France yielded 50,800 tonnes. The United States made 32,100 tonnes, Portugal hit 31,300 tonnes, Spain came in at 29,600 tonnes, and Japan produced 20,700 tonnes. India yielded 17,300 tonnes, Israel made 11,000 tonnes, South Korea reached 8,000 tonnes, and Australia produced 4,300 tonnes. Georgia yielded 900 tonnes, Azerbaijan produced 684 tonnes, Montenegro reached 500 tonnes, and Kyrgyzstan finished the list with 420 tonnes. These numbers come from FAOSTAT (2024), where calculations and presentation were done by Terra Cultiva. Keep in mind that FAOSTAT figures may include official, estimated, imputed, or provisional observations.
