A new anime announcement lands for the manga 'Manchuria Opium Squad' by Tsukasa Monma and Shikako. The story is set in 1930s Manchuria, where an injured Japanese soldier turns to the illegal opium trade to support his sick mother. This historical project follows the source material's gritty narrative.
