VERITY lands a 62.6M global opening when you add the 32.6M US BoxOffice debut to the 30M pulled in overseas over five days. This ColleenHoover erotic thriller starring AnneHathaway and DakotaJohnson matched ItEndsWithUS at 30M abroad but trailed WutheringHeights, even though it beat TheLostCity, TheHousemaid, and PracticalMagic2. All of this happened on a 40M production budget that excludes marketing costs.
