Josh Allen Peyton Manning ninth season comparison

The blueprint exists, and it belongs to Peyton Manning. His first Super Bowl didn't arrive until his ninth NFL season, back in 2006, and even that came after years of falling short against Tom Brady, who already had three championships by then. Now here's where it gets interesting for Buffalo. 2026 marks Josh Allen's ninth season in the league, and the math looks familiar. Patrick Mahomes already owns three Super Bowl rings, just like Brady did when Manning was still chasing his first Lombardi Trophy. So the question writes itself. Does Allen follow the same path and finally get his ring, or does the comparison fall apart? The Bills are clearly hoping history repeats itself.
