Rick Baker Videodrome Flesh Gun sketch

The final Flesh Gun in the 1983 film Videodrome was a foam-latex appliance, but Rick Baker's original concept art for it is somehow even more disturbing. Baker initially designed a living handgun complete with eyes, a mouth, and a foreskin, yet David Cronenberg deemed that version too graphic and ordered the removal of those elements. Instead, practical effects were deployed to depict the weapon physically fusing with Max Renn's hand. The discarded organic design featuring those specific body parts never made the cut.
