Forgotten Island box office surge

For the right price, many decided to give Dreamworks’ original animation ForgottenIsland a go yesterday at US BoxOffice, as the animation grossed 1.3M on TUE Discount Day, up SPECTACULAR +78.1% from MON (vs StrangeWorld’s 543k, +25.6%, Wish’s 1M, +37.9%, TheBadGuys’s 1.5M, +39.2%, Encanto’s 1.5M, +24.7%, TheWildRobot’s 3.1M, +36.1%) It hits a 15M US cume in 5 days. The hope is that WOM and awards talk domestically & overseas somehow keep the animation alive and give it the legs it needs, carrying a 80M production price tag not including marketing. #ForgottenIsland
