Retail floors in China are about to get a different kind of sales assistant. AGIBOT and ASD are putting 100 AGIBOT X2 humanoid robots into 100 stores, and the job description is wide: greeting shoppers, pitching cookware, explaining products, jumping into livestreams, and working the floor next to human staff.
