Reuters has the Anthropic IPO prospectus showing a $42 billion net loss for 2025. Strip out the accounting charge that makes up most of it and the operating loss still cleared $8 billion. A couple weeks before this landed, I was asking why these AI outfits hide in private markets so long. Private means working a room of rich backers. Public means the numbers are everybody's business. Well, here they are. Buying in?
