So ResidentEvil technically missed the weekend projections, but let's not act like that matters. ZachCregger's reboot is the first R-rated entry in the franchise to break 100M at the US BoxOffice, sitting at 103.2M cumulative. Second three-day frame pulled 23M, which is a Franchise RECORD for that slot, even with a 62.2% drop from opening. Losing every PLF screen plus a brutal wave of new competition will do that. Still tracking toward a 150M-165M US finish.
