An introverted high schooler dominating the online Shogi scene is finally trading virtual ranks for a real club and a prestigious amateur tournament. This premise, originally a light novel series by Iirenren and Hujiko, has officially launched as a new manga titled 'Underdog Upsets the King' in Dengeki Daioh G issue 157. Katsuwo is presenting the adaptation, known in Japanese as Ouja no Bankuruwase. The story follows a protagonist who steps out of their digital throne to face real-world competition on the board.
