Portugal manager Jorge Jesus says he will talk to Cristiano Ronaldo after the player didn't greet the fans, stressing that the national team is the national team. Jesus confirmed he told Ronaldo before the match he would play him, but in the end he didn't select him for the lineup because it wasn't the right moment for his characteristics even though he was ready to play. He noted he thought about bringing Ronaldo on after an hour of play but decided against it given how the match was going. There is a chance Ronaldo might play against Denmark.
