Iranian users are hitting a wall with the +98 country code when trying to verify new Google accounts, which means they can't get into Gmail, Google Play, Google Drive, or Google Photos. The West Asia News Agency reported that Michael wrote about these fresh sanctions blocking sign-ups for people in Iran. It raises a serious question: Will someone PLEASE explain how this prevents Iran from getting nuclear weapons? The feeling is that this is literally just trying to make the lives of any and all Iranians as hard as possible... why?
