Melissa Barrera told JustWatch the only way she comes back to Scream is if Spyglass doesn't hold the rights anymore. She said she loves the franchise and had an amazing time making those movies, but a lot of the hate and difficulty she's faced over the last years happened because leadership made it a point to label her something she isn't. The company never apologized even when she was proven right.
