What the order didn't spell out was the press pool riding along on the aircraft. So Air Force One got handled like its own separate door, and CNN stayed off the Knoxville trip for a college football game. Trump's version, meanwhile: he's for an open free press, just not what he calls fake press. He lumped CNN and MSNBC together as outlets that don't give him real news, said the one formerly known as MSNBC rebranded because its ratings were so bad, doubted it turned out one good story in two years, and threw in that he won the election in a landslide.
