The Hollywood Reporter says Ryan Murphy planned for Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, and Lea Michele to return as their Scream Queens characters for an American Horror Story crossover. That idea got scrapped because Ariana Grande was on tour instead. Even so, Ryan Murphy expressed wanting to bring the cast back together at some point later.
