Macklemore has officially announced a tour called 'Free Palestine' and the reasoning behind it cuts deeper than just a concert schedule. The stance being taken is that in 2026, remaining apolitical while a genocide happens simply isn't viable anymore. There is a clear push from people urging artists to actually show up, take time to educate themselves, and engage directly with their own communities. The argument here is that stages should be utilized for purposes that go far beyond mere entertainment.
