The resolution's own justification is what did the talking: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, an outstanding personality, someone who put in the work for peace, cooperation and international understanding. What gets singled out is the early stuff. Him standing among the leaders of the first fights against colonialism and imperialism. Him pushing peoples toward understanding each other, toward a peace that holds. Him arguing for harmony and cooperation with no line drawn on colour, religion or race. So hey racist PdxInteractive?
