Compulsory Wait is a severe administrative action taken against government employees or senior police officials. Its direct meaning: "You will not be given any work, but you must wait compulsorily with the government." Key differences and meanings between a regular Waiting List and Compulsory Wait: Responsibilities are completely stripped away: The officer's position, authority, power to issue orders, and all cases under their control will be immediately taken away. Must come to duty, but there will be no work: They must go to a designated headquarters office (e.g., HQ) daily and sign the attendance register. However, no work will be assigned to them.
