Global groundnut output for 2024 totaled roughly 52.8 million tonnes according to FAOSTAT data, with China leading the pack at 19.61 million tonnes while India followed closely behind with 11.95 million tonnes. Nigeria secured third place with 4.30 million tonnes and the United States recorded 2.92 million tonnes in production that year. Myanmar came in next at 1.72 million tonnes before Sudan and Senegal both hit 1.68 million tonnes. Argentina produced 1.48 million tonnes and Guinea reached exactly 1.00 million tonnes. Brazil generated 806,100 tonnes while Tanzania stood at 760,000 tonnes. Chad's output was 693,000 tonnes and Niger produced 676,700 tonnes. Ghana's production sat at 625,000 tonnes and Burkina Faso made 611,300 tonnes. Indonesia's output hit 603,000 tonnes and the Central African Republic produced 550,000 tonnes. Cameroon's 2024 production reached 540,000 tonnes and DR Congo contributed 508,200 tonnes. Mali's final output for the year was 497,400 tonnes.
