The situation at Manchester United hasn't pushed the club toward a managerial change. Michael Carrick is safe from dismissal right now, and no decision has been made to remove him even with the rough start to the season. Word from United sources is that nobody has reached out to Antonio Conte, nor to anyone else who could slot into the job. The hierarchy is still behind Carrick, and the thinking is that stability matters more than a knee-jerk reaction to a few bad results. So for the time being, he stays. #MichaelCarrick #AntonioConte
