Ninja Theory closure and Senua cancellation

Hearing that Microsoft tried twice to offload Ninja Theory and both attempts went nowhere is rough enough, but the proposed closure now hanging over the studio means employees are heading into a consultation process. That part stings. Senua getting cancelled is the other gut punch. It had been announced only months earlier with a 2027 release planned, and the whole idea was to push Hellblade into a bigger action-adventure space. Now that's gone. And the roster of people who worked across Hellblade, Heavenly Sword, Enslaved and DmC could end up scattered to the wind, which is the kind of thing that makes you sit with it for a minute. RIP NINJA THEORY. Hope every one of those devs finds a good landing spot, and maybe somewhere down the line that crew gets to build something together again.
