All day long, there were rumors circulating about releases happening today, yet Serrano dismissed any personal concern because she had just received medical clearance for a knee injury, leading her to believe she was safe. When the call finally came, multiple things raced through her head immediately. Her initial reaction was pure heartbreak, feeling that the situation really sucked. Her body began to shake uncontrollably, and she started crying before heading straight to the car. She explains that she truly, truly thought she was having a panic attack because she simply could not breathe, with every worst case scenario playing out in her mind while she struggled to get through the moment. Beyond her own pain, she felt genuinely bad for the gentleman who had to make the call, noting that he could hear the difficulty in his voice and that it is not an easy day at the office for him.
