Jose Mourinho didn't get sacked at any point, just finished the job and moved on. Benfica in 2000/01 ended sixth before he walked away. União de Leiria saw him take fifth in 2001/02 then head to Porto without being fired. He won first place back-to-back at Porto during 2002/03 and 2003/04 before leaving for Chelsea. The 2004/05 season started his time there with a first-place finish, followed by another title in 2005/06.
