Peter Crouch spotted Ronaldo on a beach in Ibiza while Ronaldo was on vacation there. The chance to get a picture together was sitting right in front of him, so he went over. What he expected was Ronaldo clocking him instantly: "Oh, you're Crouch!" That is not what happened. Ronaldo had no clue who he was. They posed, the photo got taken, and Crouch walked off still a stranger to him, never mentioning that he plays the sport too. haha
