Swerve Strickland AEW World Trios Championship

Swerve Strickland proposed a redesign for the AEW World Trios Championship that centers on removing the Young Bucks from consideration entirely. He argued that the Young Bucks do not constitute a trio since they are only two people, making their presence on a Trios Championship questionable. The reasoning ties directly to specific in-ring actions, with Strickland stating that the Young Bucks have been throwing Superkicks on side plates. He noted that multiple Trios Champions have held the title since those incidents occurred, suggesting the current arrangement is broken. For any new championships, his stance is clear: you have to put at least the full trios team on it if you want it to make sense. It's a sharp critique of how the title is being managed by a pair of wrestlers who don't fit the category.
