Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is officially barred from entering the US alongside other officials. Sec. Marco Rubio has denied visas to Palestinian representatives heading to the United Nations, and the State Department made it clear why this package of sanctions exists. The reasoning comes down to failures to reform and actions that keep peace prospects from happening. As a consequence of their failure to reform, contrary to their commitments to the United States, and their ongoing activities that undermine the prospects for peace, the United States will extend sanctions that deny visas to PLO members and PA officials. It looks like they are going to have to attend remotely since Marco plays no games
