Karla Welch, who styles Shailene Woodley, had to address the backlash after her client's look at the Emmys. She made a clear line between having a take on fashion and just being plain rude about it. The whole point she drove home was that getting pleasure from tearing someone else down says way more about the person doing the criticizing than anyone else. It feels like she was trying to say love or hate something fine but it's an opinion and it can even be a conversation but being super rude and mean and taking glee from it, well that says a lot more about the mouths it's.
