    Brazil Federal Government betting ban

URGENT! END OF BETS?🚨🤯 The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is preparing a Provisional Measure to BAN ONLINE GAMES (casinos, etc.) AND SPORTS BETTING‼️ The exact wording of the PM has not yet been defined; the restriction and veto will still undergo final adjustment. The CLUBS already KNOW and are preparing a campaign to prevent the change. There is an estimate that Brazilian football could lose up to R$ 1 BILLION in sponsorships due to the ban. The clubs are drafting a statement classifying this measure as ELECTORALIST and a RESULT OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INEFFICIENCY in combating illegal gambling‼️🇧🇷 Betting houses and media outlets also resist this measure, especially those betting houses that intend to litigate the case. In the case of media outlets, they generate revenue from advertising; Globo, for example, is the OWNER of a betting house. At this moment, we do not know how these pressures will impact the final text of the PM. Via thais_bilenky | zerotoledo | _rodrigomattos_ (UOL)
