Sam Alito dissent on Trump USPS ruling

So the whole playbook was stall until the clock ran out. Activist groups dragged Trump into court over his mail-in integrity order for the USPS, and their claims were the excuse judges used to freeze postal operations for months on end. Standing? Probably never had it, and that's the part that should bother people. The 7-2 Supreme Court ruling that blocked the order drew a dissent from Sam Alito, and Clarence Thomas stood with him on it. Alito's read: blocking it was the right call. What actually happened here is a delay game, pushed along until SCOTUS would feel boxed in by an election sitting right there on the calendar. Trump's executive order wasn't unconstitutional, so instead of arguing that on the merits, Democrats worked hand in glove with judges they treat as activists and manufactured standing to burn the clock. WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM in this country with activist groups WEAPONIZING courts
