Kofi's answer to the question about what wrestlers should lean on outside the ring is the one I keep coming back to: yes, lock in, climb the ladder, climb the ranks, be the best professional wrestler you can be, but there is so much else to life. You just have to have other interests. Most people have more going on than just wrestling, so don't be afraid to feed those things. Creed went the other direction with it and went tenfold, because he was always fearful from the things he saw in wrestling. His mentors kept telling him to save his money and make sure he had something else. His trainer Rob Adonis told him one time, and he didn't understand it then, don't chase wrestling because you'll never get out of it what you feel in that chase. Understand what it is. Enjoy it. Love it. Cherish it. Harness what you have to give to it, but make sure that you have something else. And that has honestly saved me, he said. All of this came out during an interview on Close Up with Renee Paquette. The New Level were the ones asked, and both of them had a real answer ready.
