Malick Yalcouyé Brighton transfer talk

People keep asking how a club finds value where the rest of the market sees nothing, and Brighton's answer is brutally simple. They have this uncanny knack for identifying young players that everyone else completely misses on their radar, and Malick Yalcouyé stands as the absolute proof of concept right now. The Ivorian arrived at the Seagulls two years ago, spent his first two seasons getting loaned out both inside England and across borders, but now in his third campaign he looks like he has finally secured a main spot with manager Fabian Hürzeler. At only 20 years old, he operates as either a winger or an attacking midfielder while bringing together raw physical power, genuine talent, real flair, and a massive personality that makes him willing to try things other kids his age simply wouldn't dare attempt. This feels like finding gold in places nobody else was even looking for, which leads to the inevitable question about what happens next given the club's history. Since they have sold so many similar talents for superlative figures before, it would not be surprising if they eventually move Yalcouyé for a very high fee.
