Botafogo-PB Série C promotion phase struggles

Two games, two 1-0 losses for Botafogo-PB in the promotion phase of Série C. Santa Cruz got them in round 1, then Floresta did it again at home in round 2. This after the team had led the first phase. The final phase has come around four times since 2021, and the three before this one ended without promotion. So yeah, the fourth is looking like the same story. Botafogo has been stuck in the third division since 2014, never relegated, never promoted, just 'almost' every time. The math is not mathing for them #BrazilianFootballConfederation
