    GTA 6 Miami marketing deal

Miami city officials just signed off on a marketing proposal for GTA 6, but the financials are still being hashed out between Rockstar and the city. Rockstar is set to pay $3 million while officials aim to push total benefits closer to $4 million through negotiation. The campaign is strictly confined to a specific Downtown Miami zone, which explicitly bars any ads on city property, landmarks, or lifeguard stands. The promotion runs from October 15 through December 31, 2026, with the schedule carving out the Art Basel event in early December so that doesn't get touched. Anyone trying to hang large banners over 5,000 square feet needs formal city approval plus a $208,000 application fee to make it happen. Even the beach gear branding stays low-key since Boucher Brothers chairs and umbrellas will only carry VI or Vice City rather than slapping the full game title everywhere.
