Dostoevsky quote on the value of life

Dostoevsky channels a condemned man's thoughts an hour before execution to argue that eternal isolation beats immediate death. The scenario places you on a narrow rock ledge surrounded by ocean, darkness, solitude, and storm for eternity. Standing in just a square yard of space for a thousand years or forever is framed as preferable to ending it all right then. This highlights the absolute necessity of living regardless of circumstances. Only to live, to live and live! Life, whatever it may be! #FyodorDostoyevsky
