Philippe Coutinho signs for Santos

Santos just pulled off the kind of move nobody saw coming. Philippe Coutinho arrives as a free agent, and he is Brazilian, 34 years old, which makes this less a signing and more a full-circle moment. The headline: he and Neymar are finally sharing a club locker room. First time in their entire careers. They go back to childhood, they wore the Brazil shirt together, and now this. What are they chasing? The Brasileirão and the Copa Sudamericana. Simple as that. And Brazil is already running with a nickname for this roster: THE NEW GALACTICOS. Neymar, Gabigol, Arthur, and now Coutinho. That is a lot of talent in one place. THIS TRANSFER BROUGHT A TEAR TO OUR EYES, honestly. Two friends who grew up in the same orbit, linking up again near the end of the road. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL STORY. The fanbase wants one thing and it is not subtle: Santos lifting trophies again. Meninos da Vila, Santos Futebol Clube, all of it.
