A breakdown of serial killer counts by country shows the United States leading with 3,803 cases. England follows in second place at 188, while Russia takes third with 172. Australia holds the fourth spot with 153, and Japan sits fifth with 145. India is also listed as fifth with 135, just ahead of South Africa at seventh with 132. Canada comes in eighth with 130, followed by Germany at ninth with 105. Italy ranks tenth with 102, France eleventh with 97, and Mexico twelfth with 73. China is thirteenth with 69, Brazil fourteenth with 46, and Poland and Spain share fifteenth and sixteenth with 31 each. Hungary ranks seventeenth with 30, Austria eighteenth with 25, Colombia nineteenth with 24, the Netherlands twentieth with 21, and Belgium twenty-first with 19.
