Pochettino Premier League Title Claim

Mauricio Pochettino is pushing to hand the 2016-17 Premier League title to Tottenham Hotspur, claiming they deserve it over Chelsea. The Blues secured that championship under Antonio Conte, yet the Football Association later fined them £10 million for 74 financial breaches connected to the Roman Abramovich era. Those probes examined deals involving Eden Hazard, David Luiz, and Nemanja Matic for suspected irregular agent payments. Despite no points being taken off Chelsea's tally and their trophy remaining intact, Pochettino insists the crown belongs to the runner-up. He put it plainly: "The title should go to the second-placed team." Tottenham ended up seven points behind in the standings back then. It has been nine years since that season concluded, but he is still demanding this controversy gets reopened.
