The Place Beyond the Pines collage

The Place Beyond the Pines stitches three distinct narratives into one tragic story, yet each segment feels like a complete movie on its own. Gosling's part is a masterpiece, followed by Cooper's chapter, and finally a third act diving into the children's lives. It's insane ambition that actually works.
