#HOPE Na Hong Jin Cannes BoxOffice

NEON, so bullish on NaHongJin’s sci-fi thriller HOPE, one of the buzziest festival darlings out of Cannes, gave it the widest release for a Korean film at US BoxOffice, and Oh boy it paid off! HOPE grossed STRONG 1.1M on WED Opening Day, beating SpiderManBrandNewDay yesterday, despite playing over just 1.560 theatres. That’s the biggest opening day for a Korean film domestically, and the biggest for international films under NEON!
