Barry Melrose dies at 70

Barry Melrose has died at 70. For decades he was a fixture on ESPN's hockey coverage, and before the broadcasting career he was behind the bench for Wayne Gretzky and the Los Angeles Kings on their run to the 1993 Stanley Cup Final. He stepped away from the network in 2023 after a Parkinson's disease diagnosis. Before all of that he played in the NHL himself 🏒
