GiveMeSport just dropped their definitive ranking of the top 25 greatest Premier League midfielders and the hierarchy is wild. Paul Scholes takes the number one spot, which feels like a solid call, while Steven Gerrard sits right behind him at second. Frank Lampard claims third place with Ryan Giggs holding down fourth before Kevin De Bruyne lands in fifth. Patrick Vieira rounds out the top six alongside Roy Keane at seventh, followed by David Silva at eighth and Yaya Touré ninth. N'Golo Kanté sits tenth, Cesc Fàbregas eleventh, and David Beckham twelfth. Claude Makélélé is thirteenth, Rodri fourteenth, Michael Essien fifteenth, and Paul Ince sixteenth. Michael Carrick holds seventeenth, James Milner eighteenth, and Bruno Fernandes nineteenth. The list extends to Jordan Henderson at twenty, Fernandinho twenty-one, Park Ji-Sung twenty-two, Luka Modrić twenty-three, Mikel Arteta twenty-four, and Gareth Barry closing it out at twenty-five. It isn't just about English players since the roster includes names from Belgium, France, Ireland, Spain, Ivory Coast, Portugal, Ghana, Brazil, South Korea, and Croatia. #PaulScholes
