Calling the exclusion of Cristiano Ronaldo from the 30 Ballon d'Or nominees an injustice feels like a necessary stance because it insults football. The numbers back this up: he won the Saudi Pro League title with Al-Nassr, netted 28 goals in that same league, and managed to score during his sixth World Cup appearance. It is wild that someone with those stats isn't even on the shortlist.
