Utah non-citizens police officers

Utah legislators are actively moving forward with a new bill designed to allow certain non-citizens to work as police officers. This is not acceptable under any conditions whatsoever. There should never be a scenario where a non-citizen serves as law enforcement over American citizens. If the state is facing a shortage of police officers, the solution is straightforward: hire Americans to fill those positions instead.
