A C+ CinemaScore and mixed word-of-mouth didn't even let holiday promotions lift RidleyScott's TheDogStars, leaving the #20thCenturyStudios sci-fi production to underperform at the US BoxOffice. The cast of JacobElordi, JoshBrolin, and MargaretQualley couldn't prevent a brutal 65.2% drop after the film earned just $2.7 million during its second three-day weekend, following an opening that was already disastrous.
