Hasanabi on 9/11 Islamophobia and Double Standards

The chaos of how my name is Hasan combined with my stance on American imperialism creates a specific double standard where criticism gets twisted into accusations that I celebrate 9/11. If my name was Henry, there simply would not be this much discourse swirling around my analysis of these events. The frustration stems from the element of Islamophobia because my opinion is misconstrued with regular frequency due to my own way of talking about it, but I have cracked jokes before as well. Those jokes were never at the expense of the victims; they targeted people who weaponize this tragedy against Muslims to go and wage war around the globe. It is wild when 9/11 truthers like Laura Loomer accuse me of celebrating the event when their entire premise is that the attacks didn't happen. Who is actually more disrespectful? Is it the guy calling the attack heinous, acknowledging that it K-ed 3,000 Americans and should not have happened while asking why it did? Or is it the person claiming George W Bush orchestrated the whole thing? Examining the causes feels less offensive than denying the reality of the deaths entirely.
