Willy Sagnol Bayern Munich career

If you look at Bayern Munich's trophy haul from the 2000s, there's a name that doesn't always get shouted first, but Willy Sagnol was right in the middle of it. He showed up in 2000 and stayed for nine seasons owning that right side, turning Germany into a place he called home. By the time he left, he'd stacked five Bundesliga titles, four German Cups, and a Champions League with the club. That European crown came in 2001, and against Valencia in the final, he held his nerve to convert a penalty in the shootout. France got the same reliability from him too, with two Confederations Cups and a start in the 2006 World Cup final against Italy. His body eventually gave out, and at 31 in 2009, injuries pushed him into retirement. He wasn't the guy dominating headlines or media attention, but for nearly a decade, Bayern's right flank had a quiet master who delivered when it counted. That's Willy Sagnol for you.
