U.S. State Department Libya travel warning

The U.S. Department of State just issued a Level 4 travel warning for Libya, which is the strongest possible level available. Americans are advised to reconsider any travel plans to the country given the cited risks including kidnappings, terrorism, and landmines. Travelers are recommended to have an emergency exit plan independent of U.S. government assistance since help might not be there. #UnitedStatesDepartmentOfState #Libya
